For decades, Illinois ranked worst-in-the-nation for equitable school funding. Over five years of arduous advocacy, Advance Illinois and the diverse partners of the Funding Illinois’ Future brought together its largest coalition, amplifying the message of “Fix the Formula.” Through strategic messaging and cohesive branding applications, the coalition successfully pushed for a historic school funding reform.
