Design Process
A non-linear design approach which relies on my ability to be intuitive, recognize patterns, and construct ideas grounded in empathy and iteration. This framework involves numerous levels of collaboration and open-mindedness in order to turn insights into action.
FRAME
Solutions to achieve.
A set of constraints that gives the project team a framework from which to begin, how to measure progress, and a set of objectives to be realized.
RESEARCH
Observe actual experiences.
Work with those who are directly impacted to learn about the specific needs, goals, values, and perspectives.
DISCOVERY
Find patterns of behavior.
It’s not enough to build empathy. Researching and analyzing users’ pain points and user needs will help direct what assets will be most valuable.
STRATEGY
Define areas of opportunity
Synthesize patterns into insights that can lead to solutions or opportunities for change.
IDEATION
Brainstorm ideas.
Ideate multiple approaches for new product offerings, or various ways of creating interactive experiences.
PROTOTYPE
Make concrete mockups.
Turn ideas into tangible products and services that are tested, iterated, and refined.
